In the year 2007 we are just beginning to see broadband competition here in Trinidad.
Yes this is late by many standards, however it does set the stage for new types of industries and exposure of our existing private and public sector companies.

And much like the adoption of mobile phone technology in many developing countries, which outstripped landline deployment in a matter of months, we in T&T have a great opportunity for QUICK adoption of technology at an even lower cost than many who have gone before.

We should levergae this and use it to our advantage. This is one way to catapult our nation to a truly developed state.
